Truckee weather: heat, possible thunderstorms highlight week ahead

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s again are the norm for the week ahead, according to the National Weather Service in Reno.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 91. Northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.



Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 46. West wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.



Tuesday Night: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a high near 87. West wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Thursday: A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a high near 87.

Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 85.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47.

Saturday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 84.
