Truckee Weather Report: Potential for scattered showers, thunderstorms

There is a 40 percent chance of rain today, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will be partly sunny, with a high near 62, and southwest winds coming in at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight it is forecasted to be partly cloudy with a low around 39. Southwest winds will come in at 5 to 10 mph becoming light south after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

On Thursday there is a 60 percent chance of rain, though it will be partly sunny, with a high near 63.
