Truckee got a delicious new addition late July as local restaurateur Mark Estes opened a new burger joint in the western end of downtown Truckee called Burger Me! The eatery features seasonal, locally sourced ingredients including all natural beef burgers from 5 Dot Ranch in Susanville and Diestal Ranch turkey burgers. Word spread fast about the establishments quiet opening as the place was packed it’s opening day. Open 11-8 p.m. daily, Burger Me’s fast, affordable fare will surely be appreciated by both locals and visitors alike, and especially so, if they crave Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia milkshakes.
