Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers (BGCE) is proud to announce Associate Wesley Ploof, out of their Truckee office, has been promoted to Certified Energy Manager. He passed the CEM exam this January.Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers, Inc. began providing mechanical, electrical, lighting, sustainable and technology engineering services in 1991 from offices in both Vail and Denver, Colo. In 2002 the firm branched out with the opening of an office in Truckee, Calif., to better serve existing clients in the area and to offer its services to the developing communities.BGCE is also please to announce James Waechter and Greg Spalding, both out of the Colorado office, have become professional engineers. BGCE likes to incorporate sustainability in all of their projects, whether it is specified by the client or not. In fact, they designed one of the first 11 LEED Certified projects, The Aspen Sundeck Restaurant in Aspen, Colo. Because of innovative work on the project, BGCE was awarded the 2001 Engineering Excellence Award. Currently, 76 percent of the 55 staff members are LEED accredited professionals.
