Truckee/Tahoe winter storm effectively cancels Wednesday night school board meeting
TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The current winter storm has effectively canceled the Wednesday night Tahoe Truckee Unified School District board meeting, which was supposed to take place in Truckee.
Below is a letter just sent out from TTUSD Superintendent Steve Jennings.
Due to weather conditions and travel safety issues I am going to recommend to the School Board that all items on tonightand#8217;s School Board meeting agenda be postponed until the 3/2/11 meeting with the exception of items listed under closed session. I would like the public to be aware of this in order to avoid unnecessary travel in unsafe conditions.
Thank you,
Steve Jennings
