Trump at Tahoe: GOP presidential nominee making South Shore stop

STATELINE, Nev. — Lake Tahoe is about to get real presidential in the month of August.
The Nevada Republican Party announced Monday it will host an event featuring GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, located on the Nevada side of the lake’s South Shore, on Friday, Aug. 26.
The event will take place from 6-10 p.m. at the casino’s Sand Harbor Ballroom.
VIP tables are available for $5,000, and general admission tickets are available for $200.

Monday’s news comes a week after it was announced President Barack Obama will speak at the South Shore on Aug. 31 as part of the 20th annual Lake Tahoe Summit, which this year is hosted by Nevada Sen. Harry Reid.
