The two Kings Beach brothers who allegedly sexually assaulted a Kings Beach child are in custody in Auburn awaiting their court hearing.

Jose de Jesus Dominguez-Rodriguez and Juan Miguel Dominguez-Rodriguez are scheduled for an early status conference on Nov. 6.

Following a two-month investigation into the sexual assault of a 7-year-old girl, Rodriguez, 30, and Rodriguez, 27, were arrested on suspicion of aggravated sexual assault of a child and were arrested Sept. 28 at their Fox Street home in Kings Beach.

The alleged assault took place more than three years ago, but was reported following an August medical exam of the girl. The investigation indicates that on two separate incidents in 2003, the suspects forcibly sexually assaulted the girl, according to Placer County sheriff’s office reports.

The suspects are both known to the girl. Child protection investigators have been involved with the case since its report.
