Ty Polastri: Are you taking part in the beautiful bike ride?

Dear AMBBR Riders, Family, and Friends,On behalf of the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition, I want to personally welcome all of you to our beautiful region andamp;#8212; Lake Tahoe. We are glad you are here and that you have chosen Lake Tahoe and Americaandamp;#8217;s Most Beautiful Bike Ride for your personal goals, holiday, and support of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.During your stay, I would like to invite you to our Tahoe Bike Day Parade andamp; Festival on Saturday, June 5 at Ski Run Marina. It would be fantastic if you would join our community of cyclists and share in the camaraderie as we ride a short 2.2 mile loop in celebration of Tahoeandamp;#8217;s Cycling Spirit. The Parade follows directly after the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 12 noon on the corner of Highway 50 and Ski Run Blvd. Itandamp;#8217;s just a mile from Stateline with a bike path that takes you right there. And, following the Parade is the Bike Festival andamp;#8212; a family event with rides for the kids, and exhibition by the regionandamp;#8217;s leading environmental groups, bicycle shops and clubs, music, food and beverages. The Festival ends at 5 pm. If you are seeking more information about the events and cycling in Tahoe, then be sure to visit our web site at http://www.TahoeBike.org. Weandamp;#8217;ll also be available to answer your questions at the Festival and at the Spooner Summit rest stop where we will be providing you refreshments and encouragement to ride the last 12 miles to the finish line.We extend our very best wishes to be safe, ride strong, and joyfully celebrate your accomplishment with family and new friends.
