SOUTH LAKE TAHOE ” Sunny, breezy afternoons and warm conditions is what we can expect for today and for the next several days.

High temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 70s each day around the lake with lower 80s near Truckee and mid 80s around Markleeville. Overnight lows under clear skies will drop back down into the 40s with lower to mid 50s along the east shore, Kingsbury Grade and Markleeville areas. Winds will blow each afternoon from the west or southwest 10 to 20 mph with a few stronger gusts possible. Overall, a very uneventful weather pattern, so if you can, get out and enjoy the mid August weather.
