Warm weather, sunny skies to start the week in Truckee

The National Weather Service is calling for daytime temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s to start the week in Truckee.

The high should be around 88 degrees in Truckee on Monday, July 31, with sunny skies and a north wind of about 5 mph. The low is forecast near 49 degrees.

The forecast calls for warmer temperatures on Tuesday, Aug. 1, and Wednesday, Aug. 2, with highs on both days of 92 and 93 degrees, respectively, and sunny skies.

There is a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday, Aug. 3.
