West Shore Association to vote Thursday

West Shore business owners will cast votes on Thursday to fill the three open seats with the West Shore Association’s board of directors.

The five running candidates include Collier Cook, Homewood’s outreach director; Gary Chaney, owner of the Chaney House; Keith Fields, part-owner of Obexer’s; Marynell Hartnett with Tahoe Real Estate Group; and Ralph Silverman, owner of California Chris Craft.

It’s not too late to join the association, said Rob Weston, the board treasurer. Payment and voting can be completed at the beginning of the 8 a.m. meeting at Granlibakken.

The ballots will be counted and new board members announced by the end of the meeting, said Weston.
