14th Annual Bud Davis Memorial Abalone Dinner in Tahoe City

TAHOE CITY and#8212; Wolfdaleand#8217;s 14th Annual Abalone dinner will take place Sept. 27, with proceeds benefiting the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Laser Biathlon Program and the Tahoe City Memorial Sculpture Fund.

Reservations are required, which includes dinner, beverages and tip. Additional menu options will include an alternative fish choice, meat and a vegetarian plate. A suggested donation of $90 per person. Seatings begin at 5:30 p.m.

The Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Association (TCCSEA) has offered cross country ski education classes for children and adults of the Tahoe/Truckee community for 11 years. The TCCSEA plans to offer the Laser Biathlon Program to participants of the Strider Glider After-School XC program, the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe and introduce a Laser Biathlon series.



Glenn Jobe, a local 1980 Olympic Biathlon Team member says biathlon is a sport that combines both physical and mental elements for participation in one of the most exciting and challenging outdoor activities, both in the winter and summer.
