A howling Halloween bash

Photos by Josh Miller/Sierra Sun KidZone Director Carol Meagher paints Amity Schlachter's hand during a Halloween Carnival at the KidZone on Oct 26.

More than 100 children brought their parents to the KidZone on Oct. 26 for the annual Halloween Carnival. Princesses, super heroes and a number of forest animals decorated Halloween bags that soon were filled with goodies and prizes. Carnival games and face painting were the highlights of this free community event and each child received a special Halloween book.

The KidZone is located at 11711 Donner Pass Road and is open to the public. For more information, call 587-KIDS.
