Active Adults | New Tahoe City program, Sierra Senior Services favorites announced
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. andamp;#8212; The Tahoe City Parks and Recreation is in the beginning stages of launching a program for active and mature adults. The department received a generous grant donation from the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation and these funds were used to purchase new computers, games, exercise weights and more. In addition, special day outings and bingo events are being planned.On Wednesday, June 13, the Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department will host a dinner social for seniors to come see what is being offered, meet other seniors in the community, and enjoy a nice meal. Dinner is $5 per person and will include main course, sides and beverages. Event is free if you would like to check out what is being offered and meet others in the community.
