Alison Elder awarded ‘Realtor of the Year 2012’ by Chase International
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. – Alison Elder was recently recognized as 2012 Realtor of the Year by her peers at Chase International Real Estate. This is the second consecutive year Elder has received the honor. She was the number one volume producing agent with $32 million in sales in the Truckee-Tahoe region in 2012, leading listing agent in units listed and leading sales agent in units sold in 2012 among Chase International’s more than 240 Realtors.
Elder has been affiliated with Chase International for more than two years and credits her success to a strong commitment to her clients and extensive experience with the Truckee-Tahoe regional vacation home, full time-residential and luxury markets. She is certified as a distressed property expert and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to negotiations, whether standard sales, short sales or bank owned product.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by my peers, but more than anything I take great pride in leading my clients through successful transactions,” Elder said. “The market has been challenging, to say the least, and guiding clients through the negotiation and escrow process, making it as seamless as possible whether they are selling or purchasing a home here in our beautiful region – is extremely rewarding.”
Elder is also unwavering in her dedication to improving the Truckee-Tahoe community. In addition to participating in the Tahoe Forest Health System Sports Orthopedic Advisory Council, she is a member of the Alder Creek Middle School Site Council and an Excellence in Education board member. Additionally, she is a member of the former Tahoe Forest Hospital Cancer Advisory Council and she currently serves on the Best of Tahoe Chef’s committee which raises funds to support the Gene Upshaw Tahoe Forest Cancer Center’s psycho-social programs offered to cancer patients and families at no charge. Elder is also actively involved with Sugar Bowl Academy where her son Andrew is a full-time student athlete and daughter Angela is a winter student athlete.
With more than 30 years of business, sales and marketing experience, Elder’s well-rounded background compliments her creative flair. This expertise combined with a home staging service for Alison’s listing clients, and extensive advertising placed for her property listings make real estate sales transactions happen for Elder Group Tahoe Real Estate clients, whether it is selling a home for top dollar in today’s marketplace or finding the perfect home for a buyer.
