Alpenglow sports winter film series begins in Tahoe City Nov. 11

TAHOE CITY and#8212; This is the kick off show to the 4nd annual Alpenglow Sports Winter Film Series. Local favorite Dave Nettle will share his recent climbing trip to Greenland. Nettle, along with Danika Gilbert, Sarah Garlick and Jim Surette, received the Copp-Dash Inspire Award from the American Alpine Club to attempt a new route on the north face of the Baroness, located on a remote island in southern Greenland. Nettleand#8217;s presentation will highlight their adventure and ascents in this amazing, far north part of the world where granite walls rise from the ocean and icebergs drift by.

Donand#8217;t miss this great show and get psyched for the season! Show starts at 7 p.m., at the Sawtooth Ridge Cafe, Tahoe City. The cafe will offer an earlybird dinner special starting at 5:30 p.m. Please call 583-2880 for reservations.
