Annual ‘Don’t Laugh with Your Mouth Full’ comedy show returns to benefit local tweens and teens
TRUCKEE/TRUCKEE, Calif. andamp;#8212; Comedy is coming to Truckee on April 30 from Los Angeles, Las Vegas andamp; Reno. Truckee-Donner Recreation andamp; Park District presents the annual Don’t Laugh With Your Mouth Full comedy show, a benefit for camp scholarships for local tweens and teens.Past year’s productions have featured nationally known comics such as Rocky LaPorte, Jimmy Schubert and Billy Gardell, who has gone on to host his own show on the comedy channel. andamp;#8220;This year’s lineup is strong as ever,andamp;#8221; said producer Diana Alouise, local comedian and owner of Shampoo Hair and Make-up Studio. andamp;#8220;Host Dave Mencarelli hails from Reno, and our two headliners are David Gee of Las Vegas, and up-and-comer Kyle Cease of L.A. This will be the comedy show of the year for the whole Reno/Tahoe area.andamp;#8221;The host for the night Dave Mencarelli is a featured comedian on the 1andamp;#8260;2 Hour Happy Hour, and has appeared at Catch A Rising Star, The Improv and Funny Bone venues nationwide. Headliner David Gee is known as Mr. Las Vegas. Featured regular comedian at the Las Vegas Improv, David was named andamp;#8220;Best Comedian in a Production Showandamp;#8221; four years in a row by the Las Vegas Review Journal. He has been house comedian/MC for the Improv for 10 years. The final headliner Kyle Cease has guest starred on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Martin Short Show, and the Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He has hosted his own Comedy Central Hour Special andamp;#8220;Kyle Cease Weirderandamp;#8221; and appeared in several movies including the role of Bogey Lowenstein in andamp;#8220;10 Things I Hate About You,andamp;#8221; and andamp;#8220;The Slow Clapperandamp;#8221; in andamp;#8220;Not Another Teen Movie.andamp;#8221; andamp;#8220;The best hour of comedy you will ever see,andamp;#8221; according to Frank Kelley, manager, Improv Comedy Clubs.What are you waiting for?
