BareBones to hire in Truckee

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; BareBones WorkWear announces a new 4,400-square foot store opening at the Gateway at the Donner Pass Shopping Center (near Starbucks and Safeway) in Truckee. The company was recruited to the area by local commercial real estate broker James T. Macdonell, of Main Street Commercial Real Estate. The store will be located in the former Payless Shoes space and itand#8217;s scheduled opening will be Sept. 1, 2012. The Sacramento-based retailer will sell apparel, scrubs, boots and accessories for work and the outdoors.

and#8220;The store will create more than 35 new local jobs and will retain clothing-apparel purchases and dollars in the local Truckee-Tahoe economy, rather than going to Reno for these types of products,and#8221; said Macdonell, who is the leasing broker for several area shopping centers. and#8220;We search for high quality businesses that will compliment the local economy and create local jobs, but not be directly competitive with locally owned businesses.and#8221;
