Be in the 2011 Bowl For Kidsand#8217; Sake bowl-a-thon

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Big Brothers Big Sisters is preparing for the most rockinand#8217; night of bowling of the year and#8212; the new-and-improved Bowl For Kidsand#8217; Sake Rock and#8216;nand#8217; Roll bowl-a-thon. The theme was inspired by event Emcee and local radio star Kat Maudru of The Eagle 96.9 and BBBS Board President and founding member of REO Speedwagon, Alan Gratzer.

Following the success of the Tahoe Bowl For Kidsand#8217; Sake last October, the Grass Valley version of our signature event moves to Saturday night, April 2, 6 p.m.-midnight at Prosperity Lanes in Grass Valley.

Our Emcee this year is none other than local classic rock radio personality Kat Maudru of The Eagle 96.9, who is sure to bring plenty of attitude to the party. Joining Kat on the mic and behind the scenes will be REO Speedwagon founder and BBBS Board President Alan Gratzer, who will share a bit of insight into the rock-star lifestyle he still leads as a Big Brother with our agency.

Join in the fun by putting a team of three to five bowlers together and signing up to raise funds for the incredible programs that Big Brothers Big Sisters makes possible in the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe community. Or help spread the word about by letting your friends in the foothills know about this rockinand#8217; way to support local mentoring throughout the region. To register a team please call the Grass Valley office at 530-273-2227.
