Big-time poker comes to Truckee

TRUCKEE and#8212; Your first step to poker fame and fortune may come at the Truckee Sunrise Rotary Club Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament 6 p.m.-midnight Saturday, May 8 at the Truckee Community Recreation Center.

This unique event offers a grand prize of a $10,000 buy-in at the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas in July. This will enable the skilled player to go much, much further.

This fun and potentially profitable evening features tournament format of play, professional dealers and structured blind schedule.

Buy-in is $150 with a 150 player limit. Proceeds of the event will benefit Truckee-North Tahoe charities.
