TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Get ready for a safe summer of biking at the Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Departmentand#8217;s 2012 Bike Derby at the Rideout Community Center, Saturday, June 9, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. In an effort to provide an exciting opportunity for all residents of the North Lake Tahoe area, the Tahoe City Recreation Department, Olympic Bike Shop, Pedal There, The BackCountry, The North Tahoe Family Resource Center, West Shore Sports, and others will host an afternoon full of food, games, bike safety and repair stations, obstacle course, and even the and#8220;Tour de Rideout.and#8221;

DJ Retro will spin great music and the Kidand#8217;s Bike Raffle will award a bike donated by The Back Country. Take advantage of this free event and get your bike ready for the safe summer days ahead.
