Boarding for Breast Cancer | Sugar Bowl to host fourth annual and#8216;Shred the Loveand#8217; rail jam

DONNER SUMMIT, Calif. and#8212; Sugar Bowl Resort is teaming up with Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) for the fourth annual and#8220;Shred the Loveand#8221; benefit event March 3, 2012. The resort will hold a rail jam contest in the Switching Yard Terrain Park, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., with all entry fees from the event benefiting B4BC and their mission to provide breast cancer education, prevention and support programs for young people and the action sports community at large. Shred the Love entry is $25, registration is 8:30-10 a.m., silent auction, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., music and awards, 1:30-4:30 p.m. featuring Lisa Phenix performing all to be held at Mt. Judah Lodge.

This yearand#8217;s sponsors for Shred the Love include Ride Snowboards, Never Summer Snowboards, Camelbak Hydration, GU Energy, Capita Snowboards, Contour, Union, Nike Snowboarding, Coal, Ashbury, and more. Adding awareness to the cause and contributing additional funds, pink Sugar Bowl pass lanyards will be on sale for $4, and $1 from every Coors Light poured that day will go to benefit B4BCand#8217;s efforts. The resortand#8217; silent auction will offer great deals on products and gear from event sponsors, with an afternoon raffle adding even more chances to walk away with great gear and prizes. All auction and raffle proceeds will go directly to B4BC.
