Brickelltown’s Burger Me! to air on Food Network

TRUCKEE, Calif., and#8212; The firey Guy Fieri dropped in to Brickelltownand#8217;s Burger Me! to film the renovated warehouse burger jointand#8217;s line up for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives to air on the Food Network Channel beginning July 19. The all-natural products and unique spin on the humble burger caught Fieriand#8217;s attention after customers, who are a big fans of the show, called in to sell Burger Me!. The small business is locally owned and operated, using all natural products and creative burger construction. Tom Farina, co-ower and general manager, said shooting for the spot was a two-day process, with 15 hours of shooting for the 10-minute section. and#8220;Guy was thrilled with the food, the unique combinations, the all natural ingredients and Project MANA donation station,and#8221; said Farina. A few Fieriand#8217;s favorites were the Truckee Train Wreck, a large burger with turkey chili, cheddar cheese, fried egg and onion rings and the Italian Stallion Special, a bison burger with Provelone, mortadella, salami and hot chopped Boston peppers topped with vinegar and oil on a Truckee Sourdough Company roll. and#8220;Itand#8217;s great exposure for the Town of Truckee, millions of people within driving distannce will see it and#8212; a nice stimulus for the community,and#8221; said Farina.

Tune In July 19, 10 p.m., July 20, 1 a.m. and July 30, 9 p.m. on the Food Network channel. This trip Guyand#8217;s rolling out for the all American favorite, and then some. In Kansas City, a pub where theyand#8217;re dipping burgers in tempura batter or putting them between a pair of grilled cheese sandwiches. In Truckee, a warehouse turned burger spot loading them with cold cuts and chili. And in Nashville, a Greek restaurant serving a bacon burger with a twist – itand#8217;s made with lamb.
