and#8220;Thatand#8217;s 22 percent more people than last year,and#8221; said North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce Manager Kym Fabel. and#8220;Our booth numbers were also up, with 12 percent more businesses and organizations taking part compared to 2009.and#8221;

Fabel credits the gains, including 11 restaurants participating in the event that provided bite-sized portions to guests, to the North Lake Tahoe Chamberand#8217;s aggressive Chamber Business Plan, aimed at undertaking specific actions to help improve the opportunity for local businesses to achieve and sustain success.

and#8220;Although the business expo is a long-standing event of the North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, we stepped up efforts this year to really position the occasion as a resource where attendees could learn about new companies, as well as the latest programs and services at established businesses, all in one place at one time. It was a fun and festive atmosphere, but the result of the event was a more educated community about what North Lake Tahoe has to offer local residents along with visitors.and#8221;
