Congratulations Ken Bousquet

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Ken Bousquet, son of Esther and Larry Bousquet of Truckee, has earned a masterand#8217;s of science in aerospace engineering. Ken completed his masterand#8217;s from the University of California at Los Angeles with a focus in design, fluid mechanics and combustion.

After graduating from Truckee High School in 2004, Ken obtained a bachelorand#8217;s of science in physics with high honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara in June 2009.

In addition to his college studies, Ken has been furthering his pyrotechnic experience at Universal Studios/Hollywood and the Hollywood Bowl providing pyrotechnics for performers such as Cher, Alicia Keys, Journey and many others. He is an elite member of the Southern California-based pyrotechnic company that is responsible for burning the and#8220;Manand#8221; at the popular Burning Man Art Festival held annually in the Black Rock Desert of Northern Nevada.

Ken is currently living in Southern California and is employed as a fire investigation and product defect engineer with 4XForensics based in Huntington Beach.
