TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Shinneyboo Creek Cabin Resort is pleased to invite inspired change agents to join Creating the New World for a weekend workshop of personal discovery, nature, and world building in a beautiful setting in the Sierra Nevada on Aug. 3-5, 2012. This is the first stop of a Northern California Creating the New World Summer Tour.

The and#8220;Coherent World-Building Workshopand#8221; is an introduction for change agents and their communities to a powerful whole system design for mobilizing a locally autonomous, globally coherent world-building movement. The purpose of the workshop is to inspire and empower personal, community, and planetary transformation, in which regular people literally create a world that reflects our deepest truths and highest aspirations as human beings.

Coherent world building is designed for people ready to move into collaborative action to awaken, engage, and unite others in their community to create the lives and world that can sustain and support a thriving new humanity. For those with ideas, solutions, resources, and networks for change, or for organizational team members, the workshop offers an empowering framework to leverage their work with others in a common purpose.

and#8220;Among us, we have the reason, vision, power, and technology to create an amazing New World of peace, abundance, joy, and freedom for all. All we have to do now is HARNESS and direct it all coherently in common purpose as a unified, collective force,and#8221; said Nancy Polend, workshop leader and founder of Creating the New World, Inc. Polend believes we can facilitate that unified focus when weand#8217;re empowered with an effective architecture for dynamic, community based, whole-systems world building.

Nancy has more than 25 years of experience empowering positive change in systems of all shapes, sizes, and sectors; she has guided individuals, organizations and communities to realize they have the power to create the future they most deeply want. Working within local, state, and Federal government; national and international nonprofits; private and corporate environments, Nancy has developed and managed educational leadership and organizational effectiveness programs. Now, she has committed her life to the and#8220;Mother-of-Alland#8221; systems change projects and#8212; Creating the New World. She is offering a concrete template for the most profound task humanity has ever faced and#8212; creating a world that will ensure the survival and evolution of the human species.
