TRUCKEE, Calif. – The Truckee Public Art Commission is sponsoring a Found Object Sculpture, which will be permanently installed at the Truckee Community Garden in the Regional Park. Take a piece of scrap metal to Truckee Day for the first Found Object Sculpture, June 4, Truckee-Donner Recreation & Park District’s Regional Park Block Party, booth open noon-2 p.m. Donate a piece of scrap metal, or contribute a piece of metal memorabilia to be welded into a trellis-shaped artwork.
