The Olympus Endoscopy System is one of only a few such systems being used in medical facilities in the United States, and is offered locally by Robert A. Chase, MD, FACS.

Laryngoscopy is a medical procedure that is used to view the voice box, throat and back of nose. The laryngoscope is a small flexible endoscope painlessly inserted into either the mouth or nose, enabling the examiner to view the interior of the larynx.

In addition, in technical situations where the direct line of sight observation is not feasible, the new endoscopy piece of equipment aids in making a diagnosis.
