Drug Use: Not my child and#8212; what you need to know
INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. and#8212; A presentation by Washoe County Sheriffand#8217;s Officeand#8217;s Bruce Hobbs, for parents, will include information on trends in substance abuse among teens, drug types and their associated effects, paraphernalia, risk factors for use in children and teens, and prevention strategies to help children and teens say no to drugs. The presentation will also include personal accounts from two local young adults who are in recovery, Wednesday, March 23, 6-7:30 p.m., at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center, Incline Village. This program is facilitated by Incline school counselors, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, Washoe County Sheriffand#8217;s Office and Tahoe Womenand#8217;s Services.
