Everybody deserves a massage

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Every year Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) sponsors and#8220;Everybody deserves a massage week.and#8221; During the week of July 18 to 24, ABMP members give their time and effort to share the gift of body work with others.

This year Jon Weedn is offering a first-time opportunity for a one-hour session of healing touch massage as a complimentary service from Sierra Agape Center on Tuesday, July 17 as a prelude to and#8220;Everybody deserves a massage week.and#8221;

Jon has been facilitating meditation in Truckee Tahoe for almost 10 years and began practicing body work last fall. and#8220;Meditation and body work create profound states of relaxation, reduce stress and expand awareness. When people are offered opportunities to learn and love themselves, their quality of life and relationships improve. I believe that body work and meditation are commitments individuals make to better understand themselves and their body.and#8221;



Weednand#8217;s intention is to facilitate wellness and healing in a way that celebrates each personand#8217;s potential through developing awareness, appreciation, and presence.

Weedn offers meditation training and healing touch massage on a donation basis through Sierra Agape Center. Founded in May 2010, Sierra Agape is devoted to teaching people how to cultivate the mind-body connection, strengthen relationships and work through times of transition.
