TRUCKEE, Calif. – Glow massage therapists will lend their hands in celebration of the award-winning national event, EveryBody Deserves a Massage Week, July 19-24 at Glow, 10320 Donner Pass Road, Truckee. The event is sponsored by Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), the nation’s largest massage membership association. Jodi Hubbell and Lou LaManna will discount any massage by $25, making the investment in your health one dollar per minute, Monday through Saturday during the week-long celebration (please mention promotion when booking). These professionals join ABMP members nationwide in an educational public service designed to promote the many benefits of massage therapy. The use of massage therapy has boomed in the last two decades. Massage has proven health benefits, such as effectiveness in treating persistent back pain and arthritis pain, as well as strengthening the immune system. It also reduces symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Consumer research shows first-time massage therapy clients report very positive feelings about their experience.
