Excellence in Education announces Spring Skiing for Schools dates in Tahoe Truckee

TAHOE/TRUCKEE and#8212; On selected days, participating resorts offer skiers and snowboarders discounted lift tickets, with proceed going directly to the Excellence in Education Foundation, which provides enhanced educational opportunities for our local students.

Spring Skiing for Schools

Saturday, March 19, Sugar Bowl: Skiing for Schools Day. Lift tickets are only $25 per person. Limited quantity of tickets available the week prior on a first come, first serve basis at the Truckee and Tahoe City Porters Sports locations.

Sunday, March 20, Homewood Mountain Resort Community Benefit Day: A special, $25 lift ticket will be available at Homewood ticket booths this day. A portion of the proceeds goes to Excellence in Education. Call Homewood, 530-525-2992 for details.

Sunday, April 3, Alpine Meadows Community Benefit Day: A special, $25 lift ticket will be available at Alpine ticket booths this day. A portion of the proceeds goes to Excellence in Education. Call Alpine, 530-583-4232 for details.

Sunday, April 10, Squaw Valley USA: Skiing for Schools Day. Pre-purchased lift tickets are $25 per person. Limited quantity of tickets available the week prior on a first come, first serve basis at the Truckee and Tahoe City Porters Sports locations.

The Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation is a private, nonprofit corporation that supports quality education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Each year the Foundation raises money and provides grants, resources and partnerships to benefit students, teachers and the educational community as a whole.
