Excellence in Education Foundation recognition event

NORTHSTAR and#8212; On Friday, Sept. 24, 2010 the Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation hosted its annual recognition event at Northstar-at-Tahoe. The recognition event is a celebration of donors, Fellows and Star award recipients and Foundation accomplishments. More than 200 people attended the festive event and enjoyed a beautiful evening with entertainment by the North Tahoe Jazz Band. During the 2009-2010 fiscal year, Excellence in Education funded over $200,000 in grants to the teachers and classrooms of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. The Foundation would like to thank Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Truckee office for generously sponsoring this yearand#8217;s event.
