Excellence in Education raises $44,000

TAHOE/TRUCKE, Calif. and#8212; The Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation, in partnership with Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors, raised $44,000 for local schools at the third annual Martis Camp Home Tour held July 23.

and#8220;Martis Camp was once again a phenomenal partner and the event was a great success,and#8221; said Hale Carr, Excellence in Education board member and event co-chair. and#8220;Some 300 guests enjoyed touring five distinctive homes that exemplify the luxury Tahoe lifestyle.and#8221;

Carr noted the annual event is truly a community collaboration with volunteers and local businesses offering up their time, dollars and energy to ensure success.

Proceeds from the event benefit quality public education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Money goes directly into the school district via the Excellence in Education Foundationand#8217;s grant and teacher training programs.
