Church of the Mountains
Christmas Church of the Mountains United Methodist Church is celebrating Christmas with three worship services. Pastor Kathleen Mahoney will preside over services starting with a family worship on Dec. 23 at 6:30 p.m. Two worship services are offered on Christmas Eve Dec. 24, a family worship at 6 p.m. and a candlelight service at 9 p.m. With Christmas falling on a Sunday, a special Christmas day worship will commence 9 a.m. Church of the Mountains welcomes all who wish to attend with open hearts, open minds and open doors. The church is located at 11079 Church St., across from the Community Arts Center in Truckee. Christmas Candle Lighting Service, Saturday, Dec. 24, 8 p.m. You are invited to join a glorious Christmas service at the Center for Spiritual Living Tahoe Truckee, located at 700 North Lake Blvd. in Tahoe City. Rev. Penny Macek will give the Christmas message and Donna Axton will led the Live Wire Choir with fabulous music. Come join us.
