Kings Beach United Methodist Church Holy Week services
All interested persons are invited to any or all of the following services with the congregation of Kings Beach United Methodist Church. On Friday, April 6 at 7 p.m., the church will commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus with a candlelight service of and#8220;decreasing light.and#8221; On Saturday, April 7 at 6 p.m., at the weekly and#8220;Come As You Areand#8221; worship service, Lay Speaker Mike Baffone will share a message about the experience of the day between the crucifixion and the Resurrection. Easter morning, April 8 at 6:15 a.m. there will be and#8220;Sunrise Prayerand#8221; at the end of the Kings Beach pier. During the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday morning, April 8, Pastor Kathryn Dunningand#8217;s Resurrection message will be and#8220;Terror and Amazement.and#8221; All services, except the and#8220;Sunrise Prayerand#8221; will take place at the church, 8425 Dolly Varden Ave. Parking and entrance to the church are located on the corner of Bear and Cutthroat Streets. Easter morning service at High Camp
The Squaw Valley Chapel with the cooperation of Squaw Valley will be offering an Easter morning resurrection celebration at High Camp, 8 a.m., Sunday, April 8, 2012. Free round-trip passage on the cable car beginning at 7 a.m. will be offered to all attending the service without skis or snow boards. Light refreshment will be available for early arrivals at the mountain top. The 50-minute service will be led by Tim Foster, the Chapeland#8217;s music leader, the Rev. Art Domingue and members of the congregation. A second, yet different service will be held at the chapel, 444 Squaw Peak Road, Olympic Valley 96146, beginning at 10 a.m.
Tahoe Resort Ministries is sponsoring interdenominational church services on Easter Sunday, April 8, at the following ski areas. The services last 15-20 minutes and all are welcome.

The Tahoe Truckee Ministerial Association is sponsoring a community Good Friday service, Friday, April 6. The service will be held at 7 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Tahoe City, stations of the cross. The church is located at 905 West Lake Blvd.
