Faith Factor | What’s up at First Baptist Church
TAHOE CITY, Calif. – Parent’s night out will be held June 15, July 6, July 20, and Aug. 3 from 6-10 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Tahoe City. Children ages birth through 12 years old are welcome. For a $10 donation activities include: Bible story, craft, music, and a movie. Maximum of $20 per family per evening. Please feed your children dinner before arrival. This is a drop-in program and no pre-registration is necessary. The church is located at 390 Fairway Drive in Tahoe City. Big A Club begins Wednesday, June 20. This program will run Tuesdays through Fridays June 20-July 27, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Children ages 3-12 are welcome. First Baptist is asking for a donation of $5 per child per day unless otherwise noted on the Big A calendar. Each child will need to bring a lunch, snack, and a drink. There are special activities such as hiking, Wild Island, mini-golf, etc. each week. Please stop by the church for a calendar of events or visit http://www.tahoeministries.com. This is a drop-in program and no pre-registration is necessary. Before and after care is also available on a drop-in basis for children 4-years, nine months old through sixth grade from 7:30-10 a.m. and 2-5:30 p.m. (Before and after the Big A Club.) Full day care will be offered at the church July 30-Aug. 10 and Aug. 20-28, 7:30-5:30, Mondays-Fridays, for children ages 4-years, nine months through 12-years of age. Note: All A+ will be closed Aug. 13-17.
The A+ Preschool will run before and after the Big A Club, Tuesdays-Fridays in June and July. Children ages 3-4 years, 8 months who are toilet trained may attend. This age group must sign up and register for specific days. You may call the morning your child needs drop-in care to see if there are any spots available. There are 36 spots available for preschool children each day. In August, the A+ Preschool will run Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
My Morning Out continues through Tuesday, June 19, then takes a summer break until resuming on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
