The fifth early bird drawing for the 2009-2010 Lake Tahoe Dream Home Raffle will take place at the Village at Northstar Noel Nights Dec. 10, 2009. The night will be filled with ice skating, carolers, cookies, a visit from Santa and more. There will also be a special Dream Home Open House.

The raffle supports Tahoe Mountain Resorts Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to sustaining and enhancing a vibrant and healthy lifestyle in the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe region.

Ticket holders get a chance to win one of the following prizes: A three-night stay in a luxurious Old Greenwood four bedroom condominium along with one golf lesson each for eight persons at The Golf Academy at Old Greenwood and two foursomes for two days at Old Greenwood Golf Course. Estimated value is $4,560; second prize is $2,500 in cash and third place winner will receive a $1,000 Safeway Gift Card. There will also be door prizes.

Proceeds from the raffle help TMRF ( offers ongoing support to local organizations to preserve the arts, environment, athletics, health organizations and charitable pursuits.

The grand prize drawing will occur on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 and the Grand Prize winner chooses either the Grand Prize Package valued at more than $1.4, which includes a luxurious home in The Village at Northstar, a $150,000 interior design package, along with a Tahoe Mountain Club Membership, offering numerous amenities such as private lakeside dining, a state of the art swim, tennis and fitness center, ski valet and multiple world class golf courses.
