Film viewing and discussion | ‘Nourish: What’s the Story of Your Food?’

TRUCKEE, Calif. – Slow Food Lake Tahoe in partnership with the Associated Students of Sierra College is hosting a film viewing and discussion of “Nourish: What’s the Story of Your Food?” today, Tuesday, Jan. 17, 6-8 p.m. at the Sierra College Tahoe-Truckee Campus. Cost is suggested donation of $5.

By providing a big-picture view, ‘Nourish’ reveals the many ways that food connects to the environment, our health, and our communities. Most importantly, “Nourish” offers specific steps that individuals and groups can take to create a sustainable food future.”
