Fireside Pizza Company donates to C.R. Johnson Healing Center
OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. and#8212; After the successful and#8220;Perfect C.R. Dayand#8221; at Squaw Valley, skiers and friends of C.R. Johnson recently enjoyed dinner at Fireside Pizza Co. in the heart of the Olympic Village. Fireside Pizza Co. offered drink and food specials for attendees and the proceeds went to the C.R. Johnson Healing Center, a subsidiary of the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation.
Attendees of the and#8220;Perfect CR Dayand#8221; skied sunny Squaw Valley, C.R.and#8217;s home mountain, while watching the third stop Rahlvesand#8217; Banzai Tour finals, enjoying and#8220;Oh Buddyand#8221; cookies from Wildflour Baking Company, lunch at Mamasake and dinner at Fireside Pizza Co.
and#8220;We had a full house during the Perfect C.R. Day dinner,and#8221; said Danny Scott, manager of Fireside Pizza Co. and#8220;You could feel the energy as Squaw locals celebrated the life of their friend with skiing, cheering on the Rahlvesand#8217; Banzai contenders, and eating well in the village.and#8221;
and#8220;We were happy to be asked to be part of the Perfect C.R. Day,and#8221; said owner Ray Villaman. and#8220;With the event proceeds, we were able to donate $1,000 to the C.R. Johnson Healing Center.and#8221;
High Fives opened the C.R. Johnson Healing Center in August 2011 as a facility in which athletes can rehabilitate in a private space with a and#8220;no questions askedand#8221; attitude. The High Fives organization is dedicated to raising money and awareness for athletes who have suffered a life-altering injury while pursuing their dream in winter sports. To learn more about the C.R.
