Fireside Pizza Company hosts second annual Fall Fundraising Feast to benefit Tahoe Womenand#8217;s Services

OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. and#8212; Fireside Pizza Company in the Village at Squaw Valley will host the second annual Fall Fundraising Feast, Monday Nov. 15, 6-10 p.m. with all proceeds for Tahoe Womenand#8217;s Services. The restaurant and staff will donate their time and resources to put on an all you can eat pasta and salad buffet. A $10 donation at the door provides an all-you-can-eat buffet, live music, drink specials and a live raffle with a variety of prizes from local businesses and the ski and snowboard industry. Music will be provided by Nick Denoia of Subjektochange and Casual Dogs and more area musicians.

The Fall Fundraising Feast is the culmination of a year-long effort by Firesideand#8217;s staff and management to raise money and awareness for Tahoe Womenand#8217;s Services. Manager Wrenn Johns introduced the staff to Tahoe Womenand#8217;s Services after she and another employee Shelly Brewer volunteered for the organization. She challenged the restaurantand#8217;s staff to donate spare change and a percentage of tips. The restaurant also gave customers the opportunity to easily add a $1 donation to their bills. The restaurantand#8217;s owner Ray Villaman generously promised he would match the staffand#8217;s donations at the end of the year. and#8220;We are grateful to have this opportunity to give back to our community. I am particularly proud of our staff that has unselfishly donated hours of volunteer time toward this endeavor,and#8221; said Villaman of his staffand#8217;s fundraising efforts. The staff of Fireside Pizza invites the North Tahoe and Truckee community to come to Squaw Valley and join them in supporting an important local organization.
