The first is an incredible pizza class at Cedar House Sport Hotel and#8211; complete with wine, appetizers, pizza lunch and in-depth information from Cedar Houseand#8217;s professional chef about preparing pizza sauce, ingredients and crust. Taking place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, the class kicks off with a Visions of Italy presentation highlighting the wonders of Italian art, architecture and culinary delights. The Italian Sampler includes the major icons of Italy, Venice, Florence and Rome. Starting in Venice and ending in Rome, the middle of the journey is spent in a luxurious 4-star Tuscan Villa high in the Florentine hills, day-tripping to Florence, enjoying an afternoon cooking intensive with the resortand#8217;s renowned chef, relaxing by the pool overlooking the stunning, verdant valley below, and many other activities.
Villas and Vistas is the second trip. Commencing in the eternal city of Rome, Umbria, Italyand#8217;s and#8220;green heartand#8221; is next on the itinerary. With a sumptuous 5-star hotel as the base in the medieval town of Torgiano, the tour visits the historic and cultural gems of the region including Assisi, Todi, Gubbio, and Spoleto to name a few.
