For Goodness Sake to host Weekend Meditation Retreat with Leisa Peterson

TRUCKEE, Calif. – Join Leisa Peterson, FGS meditation teacher, to learn the benefits of taking time to “retreat,” Nov. 30, 7-9 p.m. Brief Introduction to Retreat, guided meditation. Dec. 1, 9 a.m. -5 p.m., For Goodness Sake, 10157 Donner Pass Road, Truckee. Whether you’re new to meditation or have been meditating for many years, you are welcome to join this evening plus one-day mini-retreat to experience the benefits of looking within.

“From personal experience, I’ve seen no practice work as effectively as meditation in profoundly improving my relationships with others and helping me to find peace of mind. Through careful and sustained observation, awareness of the ever-changing flow of life increases. This awareness leads me to more fully accept the pleasure and pain, sadness and happiness, fear and joy that life inevitably brings. I look forward to sharing the art of loving-kindness meditations with those who participate in this retreat,” said Peterson.

Cost is $20 suggested donation for Saturday retreat. Please call 530-550-8981 to register.
