Free grant development workshop
kings beach – Any cluster or team of individuals from an organization, collaborative or association working toward a healthy community is eligible to apply to attend the grant development workshop.
This three-day workshop will take place March 21, 22 and 23 at the North Tahoe Community Conference Center in Kings Beach. Sierra Health Foundation, the Nonprofit Resource Center and Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation are sponsoring the training. There is no cost to participants. Teams should identify a specific project.
Participants will acquire tools to leverage dollars from a variety of sources and improve their capacity to compete for and secure resources. Class limit is six to eight teams of three to four participants.
The positive results of this training in the Sacramento area have led to expanding outreach to Northern California.
The trainer, Harvey Chess, is known nationally for his funding and resource development work.
