SQUAW VALLEY, Calif. – Award-winning producers Teton Gravity Research are pleased to announce “Further,” the second installment in the Jeremy Jones snowboard movie trilogy, Deeper, Further, Higher, presented by O’Neill, to be viewed Sept. 7 at KT-22 in Squaw Valley. Taking his lifetime expedition to the next level, Jeremy Jones leads his crew of world-class riders, cameramen and guides to the far corners of the earth in the second installment of the Deeper trilogy: “Further.”

Jones seeks out first descents and exotic experiences in an effort to evolve not only his snowboarding, but himself. The relationships forged from isolation and travel are almost as intriguing as the maniacal descents themselves. Join Jeremy and his crew in the Arctic Circle, Japan, the High Sierra and the remote Pickett Range among others as they push their minds and bodies Further.

Teton Gravity Research’s Deeper rocked the snowboarding world in September 2010 as Jeremy Jones pushed himself and his crew to summit world-class lines in remote backcountry zones. Experimenting to see if this backcountry camping approach would work for the level of riding Jones was after, the TGR Deeper crew executed amazing first descents around the world. Through research, patience and hard work, the crew was able to live in caves and on glaciers to ride untouched lines without another human in sight.

Athletes: Jeremy Jones, Terje Haakonsen, Xavier De Le Rue, DCP, Nicolas Müller, Lucas Debari, Josh Dirksen, Forrest Shearer, Ryland Bell.

TGR couldn’t think of a better place to host the world premiere of Further than Jeremy’s own backyard: Squaw Valley, outdors at KT-22. Win amazing swag from Jones Snowboards, O’Neill, Contour, and more.

The premiere of Further will kick off with an opening DJ set by DJ Treez, and Squaw’s own JT Holmes will be skydiving into the event at approximately 7:30 p.m. accompanied by members of the Red Bull Air Force. Jeremy Jones and other athletes from “Further” will be on-site for the premiere and the evening will wrap up with a star-studded after party at Rocker at Squaw.

Tickets for “Further” are $15 at the door and $12 through partners at Squaw Valley’s ticket center, Start Haus, Full Belly Deli (both located in Truckee) or online at http://www.tgrtix.com/Tickets/Further. Tickets purchased on-site immediately before the event will be cash only. All attendees will receive a two-for-one lift ticket to Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows, valid midweek, non-holiday.
