Gateway Urgent Care announces Autumn Garcia as new physician assistant

TRUCKEE – Gateway Urgent Care in Truckee is pleased to announce the addition of Physician Assistant Autumn Garcia to its staff. Garcia holds a Bachelor’s of Biology and a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies degrees. A San Diego native, Garcia has previously worked in the areas of urgent care, pain management, and general family medicine.

As Gateway Urgent Care’s physician assistant, Garcia will be able to perform any procedures and patient exams currently included in the scope of the Gateway Urgent Care’s supervising medical director Dr. Dennis Chez. Specializing in sport injuries, Gateway Urgent Care is also available for physicals, x-rays, laceration repairs, as well as general family and pediatric health care.

Autumn Garcia is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is proficient in medical Spanish as well as having a family background in Spanish speaking. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, fishing, running, and hiking. Gateway Urgent Care is located at 11105 Donner Pass Road, Truckee and is open daily 9-5 p.m. Walk-ins are always welcome and there is rarely a wait.
