Get in the Zone: A workshop for working women in Tahoe City

TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; The North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce and the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Sierra Human Resources Association (SHRA) are offering andamp;#8220;Get In the Zone: A Workshop for Working Womenandamp;#8221; Wednesday, Aug. 18, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Granlibakken Conference Center andamp; Lodge, 725 Granlibakken Road, Tahoe City.The workshop is geared to strengthen participantsandamp;#8217; sense of purpose in their work and align them with the needs of their organization or chosen career and life. It will also provide attendees with take-away tactics for career advancement and life enrichment, including a self-assessment connecting to what gets them andamp;#8220;in the zone,andamp;#8221; powerful decision-making tools, help in getting unstuck with a better sense of focus and ability to concentrate, along with networking skills and best self introductions.The speakers are President Laura Moriarty of Tahoe Training Partners, a seasoned human resources executive, nationally known corporate trainer and frequent present of SHRA workshops, as well as Cathy Norris of Live Your Passionate Life.Registration is $69 for North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce and SHRA members and $79 for non-members.
