TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. – The Tahoe City Parks and Recreation Department and the North Tahoe Lacrosse Program are proud to announce their popular youth lacrosse program has now grown to include both a boys and girls high school team. The lacrosse program plays in the High Sierra Lacrosse League and throughout the spring and compete against teams from the Reno area.

Lacrosse is one of the hottest growing sports throughout the United States, and since its inception two years ago in North Tahoe, it has more than tripled in size. The program, led by Brett McCann, is going into its third year and is already established itself as one of the premier programs in the area. Registration is currently open for boys and girls in all age groups. All skills levels are welcome and no experience is necessary.
