‘Giving back’ inspires Todd Lemma

Todd Lemma, Jr.

TRUCKEE, Calif. – Thank you Truckee for helping me reach my goal of collecting more than 50

glasses to donate to One Sight, an organization that repairs unwanted

glasses and delivers them to people in need. This started out as a

school project for the Custom Learning Academy, but it was so

rewarding I hope to do it annually. Plumas Bank, KidZone Museum, Coffeebar, and the Unique Boutique helped by putting out my collection boxes. It made me feel proud knowing that I helped bring the gift of sight to

someone, somewhere in the world. Now that I have done something to

give globally, I have to figure out what my plans are to give back

locally. What are you going to do?
