Gong Mystique: ‘Embrace Spring Through Sound and Movement’ at the University of Nevada, Reno

RENO, Nev. – Five gong musicians join the University of Nevada, Reno Russian Club in a gong concert to “Embrace Spring Through Sound and Movement,” Feb. 26, 7:30 p.m., University of Nevada, Reno, Church Fine Arts Building, North Virginia Street. Gong Mystique members Journey, Judy Strauss, Wyatt Smith, J Thomas and Emily Wallis present a multi-media concert. The group will play 16 finely tuned gongs, crystal bowls and many other instruments. They are joined by the University of Nevada Russian Club, who will perform two dances at the concert. After the show, the group will discuss the science behind vibrational healing and answer questions about the powerful gongs.
